[Kenninji Temple x AKAGANE] Dinner with special tour and explanation by a monk
Kennin-ji, Kyoto’s oldest Zen temple, located in Higashiyama.

Enjoy an impressive collection of works, including a finely crafted replica of the National Treasure “Wind and Thunder Gods” folding screen (Fūjin Raijin-zu) and the powerful twin-dragon ceiling painting (Sōryū-zu) that fills the temple ceiling.

This plan includes a guided tour of the temple grounds with commentary by priest Mr. Tsumichi Asano of Kennin-ji. After the visit, you’ll walk through the streets of Higashiyama to Akagane Resort Kyoto Higashiyama 1925 and enjoy a French dinner in a Taisho-era fusion space that still carries the atmosphere of the period.
