LOST Walking Tour Participation Waiver and Release of Liability
By participating in the walking tour organized by LOST (hereafter referred to as "the Organizer") and led by the tour guide, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in this walking tour involves walking for extended periods through various terrains, including but not limited to paved paths, gardens, nature trails, and public areas. I acknowledge that walking tours inherently involve certain risks, including but not limited to slips, trips, falls, collisions with objects or other participants, adverse weather conditions, uneven surfaces, and interactions with the public.
Physical Fitness & Responsibility
I confirm that I am in good health, physically fit to participate, and capable of safely completing the tour without risk to myself or others. I understand that it is my responsibility to act safely, remain aware of my surroundings, and follow any instructions or guidance provided by the tour guide or Organizer.
Release of Liability
In consideration of being allowed to participate in this walking tour, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless LOST, the tour guide, their employees, agents, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death that may be sustained by me or my property while participating in the tour, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
Personal Property
I understand and agree that LOST and the tour guide are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during the course of the walking tour.
Medical Treatment
In the event of an accident or medical emergency, I authorize the Organizer to seek medical treatment on my behalf if necessary. I understand that I am responsible for any costs incurred as a result of such treatment.
Photographic Release (Optional)
I acknowledge that photos or videos may be taken during the walking tour and grant permission for my image to be used for promotional purposes by LOST, unless I specifically opt out in writing before the start of the tour.
