●We accept wedding reservations on weekends and holidays, so it may be difficult to visit at the time you wish. We appreciate your understanding.
●Please select a reservation date between December 1st and December 29th.（Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays /Open on the 24th).
●The reservation period for Galette des Rois is from January 3 to January 31.
(Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays / Winter holiday: January 6 to January 9)
●Please make any changes to your reservation date and time at least 3 days in advance. For changes after that, please contact us by phone.

This is a traditional French pastry made with a flaky, crispy puff pastry filled generously with almond cream. In France, it is traditionally eaten on January 6th for Epiphany. According to tradition, if you find a fève, a small porcelain figurine, hidden inside a slice of the galette, you are said to enjoy a year of good fortune.

At Sombreuil, instead of a porcelain figurine, we have baked an almond into the pastry as a charming alternative.
