Seasonal Japanese cuisine with a beautiful Japanese garden

"Benkei" is an authentic Japanese restaurant on the 7th floor of the Kumamoto Nikko Hotel. Private rooms available, all with views of the Japanese garden and for some, Kumamoto castle. Our full Japanese course uses seasonal ingredients across all sushi and meat dishes. Our specialties include 'Basashi' (raw horse) and Amakusa-caught fish to accompany our delicious Kuma Shochu.
